BEST TIME TO VISIT:  May TO June:

The spring thaw has firmly banished the chill and summer brings a burst of activity.

Most areas of District Bilaspur, Solan, Sirmour, Kangra, and Una are now warm to hot and Kullu, Chamba, Kinnaur and Shimla are cool through the evenings and nights and delightfully pleasant through the days, and the temperature may drop after a summer shower that comes complete with a display of thunder and lightning.

In Himachal it’s a time to savor much of what nature has generously given to this part of the world. There are fresh leaves on the trees, acres of wild flowers in full bloom and birds whose rich plumage splash quick colures through cool breezes.
